Having worked in the utilities sector as a Land Officer for over 19 years Ben has an extensive knowledge of managing requests for new connections, network diversions/upgrades and addressing a myriad other land rights issues, and is comfortable in progressing major and minor schemes alike.
As Embedded Land Officer Team Leader, Ben's knowledge and experience allows him to guide others, share best practices, and create an environment where team members can learn, grow, and perform at their best.
Utilising well-honed communication skills Ben interacts effectively with clients, customers, agents and others, ensuring all are kept abreast of developments associated with their projects in a timely manner, and in collating relevant data necessary for project advancement.
Negotiating terms for wayleave consent, agreeing permanent rights, resolving disputes or claims, meeting developers, local authority personnel, engineers and planners, it’s all in a day’s work for Ben!
When not at work Ben enjoys nothing more than spending quality time with his young family, playing crown green bowls and a round of golf.
